The Hotel
The Pestana Bay Hotel is situated in
the beautiful bay of Praia Formosa with direct
access to the sea.
Most of the 206 rooms have a wonderful view over the
sea and "Cabo Girao" the second highest cliff in the
world. They are equipped with a kitchenette and sea
facing balcony. The standard bedrooms are well
furnished and spacious with twin beds. They all have
baths, showers hairdryers, telephones and satellite
TV.
Guests can enjoy the free gymnasium facilities and
the outdoor heated swimming pool. The hotel itself
is only 5 km from the center of Funchal which is
made accessible by the free hotel shuttle which runs
during the day. Tennis courts and bowls are
available in the immediate vicinity.

Two one week holidays aimed specifically at the
established player who wishes to improve all or any
aspect of their game, or just to gain in confidence.
It will be run on the same lines as our established
improvers holidays in Menorca which are always over
subscribed.
Andrew Kambites will be giving seminars most days.
The cost of either one week holidays flying from Gatwick is
£634.00* The cost for the
two weeks is £939.00 which
includes half board, bridge fees, entertainment and airport
duties.
Supplements from other airports are shown below. (*Single
occupancy is limited and attracts a supplement of £101.00
per week).
Flights are available from Manchester for a £20.00
supplement. Birmingham, Luton, Exeter & Bournemouth £30.00
Glasgow £40.00.
Please note that insurance is not included but

A deposit of £100.00 per person is required at the
time of booking.
